Chapter Fifteen

Scarlett

When we reached the main house I was grateful for the momentary reprieve of everyone staring at me, deciding it was as good a time as any to shower again and get ready for the day. Not only did I want to put clothes on, but I didn’t want to scare any of the young pups that saw me and after a night of tossing and turning, I looked rough. None of them had a clue what was going on and I didn’t want to make it any worse than it already was.

All of my belongings were still in the main house, as I had just mated with Creed and we had not had the opportunity to move my things to his home. With everything going on, it was probably better that my things were not moved over yet. There was already so much to adjust to and process.

Deciding the only thing to do now was to trust Tala and move forward, I finished rinsing off and got out. I would do my best to honor Tala’s dying wish. Not only would I be able to get my revenge on my grandmother, but I was going to be strong enough to be the Alpha that this pack needed.

I stepped from the bathroom and my face flushed as the three guys stood just inside my bedroom door, waiting for me. The thought that
